South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched the Galaxy A04e and Galaxy A04 smartphones in India. Both smartphones feature a 6.5-inch HD+ display, 5000mAh battery and run on the Android 12 operating system out of the box with One UI 4.1 customization on top. Both variants also come with a RAM Plus feature that uses internal storage as a virtual RAM for memory expansion.

Samsung Galaxy A04e features a 6.5-inch HD+ (1560 x 720 pixels) LCD Infinity-V display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 12nm chipset paired with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU, up to 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of onboard storage. The phone also supports a microSD card of up to 1TB via a dedicated slot for expandable storage.
In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy A04e sports a dual rear camera setup of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture lens. For taking selfies and video calls, the phone comes with a 5-megapixel camera housed on the Infinity-V notch-style display. The phone packs a non-removable 5000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging technology.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ GLONASS, 4G VoLTE, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging and OTG. Sensors include proximity and an accelerometer. Lastly, the phone measures 164.2 x 75.9 x 9.1 mm and weighs 188 grams.

Pricing and availability
Samsung Galaxy A04e is priced at Rs. 9,299 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, while the 3GB RAM and 64GB storage model is the price set at Rs. 9,999. The top variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs. 11,499. The phone comes in Light Blue and Copper color options.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A04 costs Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, while the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 12,999. The phone comes in Green, Black, and Copper color option.
Both variants will be available to purchase via the Samsung e-store and select retail stores in the country starting December 20, 2022. Launch offers include cashback worth Rs. 1000 on purchasing the smartphone via Samsung Finance+, Zest, or IDFC First.
