Redmi Smart Fire TV to launch on March 14 in India

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is set to launch its first Smart TV with Fire OS in India on March 14, 2023. According to a dedicated microsite, the upcoming Redmi Smart Fire TV will run on the Fire OS 7 and offer seamless integration with Amazon’s services and content.

The Redmi Smart Fire TV will feature a 32-inch display with a metallic bezel-less design. The upcoming TV is said to offer a premium experience with better visuals and an immersive audio experience. The included remote sports dedicated buttons for Amazon Prime Music, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Amazon Alexa.

Further, the microsite indicates that the TV will come with Apple Airplay, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Miracast. Redmi Smart Fire TV will run Fire OS 7 out of the box. For the unaware, Fire OS is a modified version of Android that comes with a user-friendly interface and offers access to thousands of apps, including Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, YouTube, Spotify, Voot, Zee5, and other popular streaming services.
