Redmi Smart Band Pro with AMOLED display, SpO2 monitoring and 14-day battery launched in India

At a launch event on Wednesday, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched the Redmi Smart Band Pro along with the Redmi Note 11 series smartphones and the Redmi Smart TV X43 in India. Redmi Smart Band Pro has an AMOLED display and comes with support for over 110 workout modes, magnetic charging and up to 20 days of battery life. 

Specifications

The Redmi Smart Band Pro has a 1.47-inch AMOLED display, with 194 x 368 pixels resolution, 282 PPI pixel density, 8-bit colour depth, 100 per cent NTSC colour gamut coverage and a peak brightness of up to 450 nits. Under the hood, it is powered by an Apollo 3.5 processor. 

The band packs a 200mAh battery that supports magnetic charging and can offer up to 14 days of battery life under regular to moderate usage and up to 20 days of battery life under power-saving mode. The overall weight of this wearable is 15g and has 5 ATM water resistance. 

There are 110 sports modes supported and it is equipped with SpO2 monitoring, heart rate monitoring, female menstrual tracker and sleep tracking. This wearable comes with LifeQ health tracking algorithm and has a PPG heart-rate sensor, an ambient light sensor, and a six-axis sensor. 

In terms of connectivity, you get Bluetooth 5.0. The band can be connected with smartphones running on the iOS 10 or Android 6 (Marshmallow) operating system and later. Fitness progress can be tracked using Xiaomi Wear App and for customisation, there are 50+ pre-designed watch faces. 

Pricing and Availability

The Redmi Smart Band Pro is priced in India at Rs 3,999 but will be available for Rs 3,499 under an introductory offer for a limited period of time. Its sale is slated to begin at 12pm on February 14 through Amazon, the company’s official website, Mi Home and authorised offline retail stores.
