Redmi Note 11 series launched with MediaTek processors

It is announced in China and features up to 120W fast charging, a 108MP camera, Android 11 OS, and a 120Hz AMOLED display.

Xiaomi on Thursday in China officially launched the Redmi Note 11 series consisting of Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro+. Redmi Note 11 is the most affordable model in this series and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is the premium model. 

Redmi Note 11 Specifications

The Redmi Note 11 features a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD display with 2400 × 1080 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate. It sports a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. 

The phone has a dual-camera setup on the back, with a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP secondary depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is a 16MP shooter on the front. It runs on MIUI 12.5 custom skin based on Android 11. 

The handset is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and has up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, and Bluetooth 5.0.

Redmi Note 11 Pro

Both the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ have almost identical specifications with differences in battery and fast charging support. They sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+ and selfie camera punch-hole at just 2.96mm in diameter. 

They have MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 onboard storage. Both devices run on the same Android 11 based custom skin MIUI 12.5. JBL-tuned stereo speakers are available with two 0.65 cubic mm audio chambers on the two sides of the phone and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor is there for security.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro, packs a 5,160mAh battery with 67W fast charging support while the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ comes with a comparatively smaller 4,500mAh battery but almost double 120W fast charging support. They are IP53 rated and come with a VC liquid cooling system.

Both handsets have a triple rear camera setup that includes a 108MP primary Samsung HM2 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens with 120-degree FoV, and a 2MP telemacro camera. On the front, you get a 16MP sensor. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack.

Pricing and Availability

The Redmi Note 11 price starts at CNY 1,199 (about Rs 14,000) for the base 4GB + 128GB variant, while the 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at CNY 1,299 (about Rs 15,200). The 8GB + 128GB version will cost CNY 1,499 (about Rs 17,500), and the 8GB + 256GB model is priced at CNY 1,699 (about Rs 19,800). It will be available in Mysterious Black, Galaxy Blue and Mint Green colours.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro is priced at CNY 1,599 (about Rs. 18,700) for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 128GB configuration is priced at CNY 1,899 (about Rs. 22,300) and the 8GB + 256GB option is priced at CNY 2,099 (about Rs. 24,500). 

The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is priced at CNY 1,899 (approx Rs 22,200) for the 6GB + 128GB variant, CNY 2,099 (about Rs. 24,500) for the 8GB + 128GB version, and CNY 2,299 (about Rs. 26,900) for the top 8GB + 256GB variant. Both Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+ models will be available in Fog Green, Mystery Black and Purple colour options. All three models of the Redmi Note 11 series will go on sale from November 1, 2021.
