Xiaomi on Wednesday, April 20 expanded its budget smartphones lineup in India with the launch of the Redmi 10 Power along with the Redmi 10A. The Redmi 10 Power is priced under Rs. 15,000 and comes with 50-megapixel primary camera, a 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and Snapdragon 680 chipset. 

Specifications

The Redmi 10 Power features a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with 400 nits of peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 11 out of the box. 

This handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, along with Adreno 610 GPU. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage which is expandable up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

In terms of photography, you get a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture lens) and a 2-megapixel portrait sensor (f/2.4 aperture lens). For selfies and video calling it offers a 5-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens.

The RAM on this device is virtually expandable up to 3GB using free internal storage. It is fueled by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging, but only a 10W charger is provided in the box. The fingerprint sensor is rear-mounted. Connectivity options on the Redmi 10 Power include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Pricing and Availability

The Redmi 10 Power carries a price tag of Rs. 14,999 for the single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It will be available in Power Black and Sporty Orange colour options. The sale of this smartphone will take place in India via Mi.com, Mi Home, Amazon, and other offline retail partners, however, the company has not announced the date when it will be available to purchase.
