Realme has launched the budget Realme C51 smartphone in India. The phone features a 6.7-inch HD display, UNISOC T612 SoC, a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 5000mAh battery, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. Realme C51 runs on the Android 13 operating system with Realme UI T Edition customization on top.

The Realme C51 features a 6.7-inch (1600 x 720 pixels) HD+ IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 560 nits of peak brightness. The phone is powered by an octa-core UNISOC T612 (12nm) chipset paired with Mali-G57 GPU, 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 64GB of onboard storage. It also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot that supports up to 2TB of microSD card for expandable storage.
In terms of optics, the Realme C51 sports a dual rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a depth sensor. For taking selfies and making video calls, the phone has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture lens. The phone packs a non-removable 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging technology.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, dual 4G VoLTE, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, magnetometer, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 167.2mm × 76.7mm × 7.99mm and weighs 186 grams.
Pricing and availability
The Realme C51 is priced at Rs. 8,999 for the sole 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The phone comes in Mint Green and Carbon Black color options and will be available through Realme.com and Flipkart in India starting today, September 4, 2023, at 6 PM in an early bird sale. Customers purchasing the phone using HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank cards can avail of Rs. 500 instant discounts.
