Chines smartphone maker Oppo has confirmed that it will unveil its 125W fast charging technology on July 15, 2020. Currently, the company offers 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging technology that was launched with Oppo Reno Ace smartphone in October 2019. On the other hand, Realme is launching 125W fast charging technology on July 16, 2020.
Oppo has shared a tweet with a short teaser video on its official twitter handle that reads, “If you don’t like waiting to charge, the wait is almost over. #FlashForward”. The video also shows the launch date at the end.
On the other hand, Realme has announced on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo that it will launch a 125W fast charging technology on July 16. The Vice President of Realme China, Xu Qi has also posted the same tease poster with a binary number 1111101 that reads 125 when converted it to decimal.
Vivo sub-brand iQOO has also unveiled its 120W ultra-fast charging technology. According to a report, the iQOO 120W ultra-fast charging technology can charge 50 percent of a 4000mAh battery in just five minutes and 100 percent in fifteen minutes. The iQOO 120W charging technology was first introduced at the 2019 Mobile World Congress in Shanghai, China.
