Nokia X30 5G with 6.43-inch 90Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 695 SoC launched in India

HMD Global has launched the Nokia X30 5G smartphone in India. The phone features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 695 SoC, dual rear cameras, an in-display optical fingerprint reader for biometric authentication, and runs on the Android 12 operating system out of the box. Further, the company promises to deliver three OS upgrades and three years of security updates.

Nokia X30 5G specifications

The Nokia X30 5G features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 700 nits of peak brightness. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 (8nm) chipset paired with Adreno 619L GPU, 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage.

In terms of optics, the Nokia X30 5G sports a dual rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 13-megapixel 123-degree ultra-wide lens with f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and making video calls, the phone has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.4 aperture lens. The phone packs a non-removable 4200mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging technology.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth version 5.1, 5G SA/NSA (n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n28, n38, n40, n41, n77, n78 bands), dual 4G VoLTE, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, NFC, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging and OTG. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, magnetometer, ambient light, and an in-display optical fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 158.9 x 73.9 x 7.99 mm and weighs 185 grams.

Pricing and availability

The Nokia X30 5G is priced at Rs. 48,999 for the sole 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The phone comes in Ice White and Cloudy Blue color options and is currently available for pre-booking via the Nokia e-store, Amazon, and leading retail stores in India. Nokia X30 5G will be available from February 20, 2023.
