State-owned telecommunications service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited has once again extended the due date of bill payment for March 2020 up to 8th May 2020.
MTNL Mumbai in a notice on its website has extended the last bill payment date for the second time. MTNL Mumbai customers now have time up to 8th May 2020 to their Landline, Broadband, and Mobile bills for March 2020.

The bill payment deadline earlier had been extended up to 20th April keeping in view the conditions in Mumbai. Maharashtra is the worst affected state in the country because of the coronavirus pandemic.
MTNL billing cycle commences on the 1st and 16th of the ensuing month. The pay by date is normally 3 weeks after these dates. Late payment of bills usually leads to the addition of surcharge. The bill due date extension remains limited to the Mumbai circle with MTNL Delhi not offering any such offer.
