MTNL Mumbai extends due date for landline, broadband, and FTTH bills
MTNL Mumbai bill delivery affected due to staff shortage in Post Office. TSP offers extended timeline as a relief for customers.
State-owned telecom service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) earlier this week provided a breather for MTNL Mumbai customers with an extension in the due date for payment of bills. The delivery of the bills has been delayed due to reduced staff in the post office.
As a result, MTNL Mumbai has extended the last date for payment of landline, broadband, and FTTH bills dated for the month of May 2021. MTNL Mumbai’s retail customers have got an extension till 11th June 2021 for the payment of due bills whereas the group billing customers have got an extension till 15th June 2021 for the payment of due bills.
MTNL Mumbai also expressed regret due to the inconvenience caused from it ends towards the customers.
“Delivery of the bills has been delayed due to reduced staff in post office. Hence due date for landline, broadband and Ftth bills for bill dated May-2021 has been extended till 11th June 2021 for retail customers and till 15th June 2021 for Group billing customers.
Inconvenience is regretted,” said MTNL Mumbai in a notice.
