Motorola has recently launched a mid-range smartphone with premium features in India. The Motorola One Fusion+ is priced at Rs. 16,999 and offers a Snapdragon 730G processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. With this pricing and specifications, Motorola is all set to compete with other Chinese brands that have similar specs and pricing in the country. Display and build quality

The Motorola One Fusion+ features a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ IPS display with HDR10 support. The Poco X2 has a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support. The Redmi Note 9 Pro also comes with a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ IPS display. The Realme 6 Pro has a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

The Motorola One Fusion + comes with a glass front, plastic back, and a plastic frame body. On the other hand, the Poco X2 comes with a glass front, glass back, and an aluminum frame body, while both Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and Realme 6 Pro comes with a glass front, glass back, and plastic frame body.

Performance

Both Motorola One Fusion+ and Poco X2 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G (8 nm) chipset, while the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and Realme 6 Pro comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G (8 nm) chipset. All four smartphones are available in 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage configuration. The Poco X2 is also available in 6GB + 64GB, and 8GB + 256GB configurations. Apart from the 6GB + 128GB configuration, the Redmi Note 9 pro Max and Realme 6 Pro are also available in 6GB + 64GB, and 8GB + 128GB configurations.

Camera

All four devices come with a quad-rear camera setup of 64 MP being the primary sensor and 8 MP ultrawide angle lens. The Motorola One Fusion+ and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has a 5 MP macro camera, while the Poco X2 and Realme 6 Pro has a 2 MP macro camera. The Realme 6 Pro comes with a 12 MP telephoto camera, while the other three smartphones come with a 2 MP depth sensor camera.

On the other hand, the Poco X2 comes with a 4500mAh battery that supports 27W fast charging technology, and the Realme 6 Pro comes with a 4300mAh battery with 30W fast charging.

Software

All four smartphones run Android 10 out of the box. The Motorola One Fusion+ gives a near-stock Android experience, while the Poco X2 and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max offers MIUI 11 customization. Lastly, the Realme 6 Pro comes with a Realme UI on top.

The Motorola One Fusion+ is priced at Rs. 16,999 for the single 6GB RAM and 128GB variant. As per the listing on Flipkart, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max also costs Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB + 128GB. The Poco X2 price starts at Rs. 17,499 and the 6GB + 128GB variant costs Rs. 18,499. The Realme 6 Pro price starts at Rs. 17,999, and the 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 18,999.

Conclusion

All four smartphones offer great value for money. The Motorola One Fusion+ comes with a near-stock Android 10 OS, offers a bigger battery, and better display with HDR10 support but lacks the 120Hz or 90HZ refresh rate that Poco X2 and Realme 6 Pro offers. Motorola One Fusion+ also costs less than Poco X2 and Realme 6 Pro.

As per the listing on Flipkart, both Redmi Note 9 Pro Max 6GB + 128GB variant and Motorola One Fusion+ costs Rs. 16,999. The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max offers better specifications with Snapdragon 720G processor, 32 MP selfie camera, and 5020mAh battery with 33W fast charging, but it does not provide the stock Android experience, which could be essential for some customers.
