After several rumours and leaks, Motorola has announced its new tablet in India dubbed as Moto Tab G70. This is the second offering in the Indian market by Lenovo owned Motorola after the Moto Tab G20 which was launched in September last year.
Specifications
The Moto Tab G70 comes with an 11-inch IPS 2K TDDI LCD display with 2,000 x 1,200 pixels resolution, 400 nits of peak brightness, 10-point multi-touch and TUV Rheinland certified eye protection for reduced blue light exposure and improved eye comfort.
It has narrow bezels across all sides to provide an edge to edge view with a high screen to body ratio and for high-quality video streaming it holds HD certification for Amazon and Netflix. There is also a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio.
The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T chipset paired with an 800MHz Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU for graphics. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card up to 1TB.
It runs on Android 11 out of the box and packs a 7,700mAh with 20W Quick Charge. There is a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. It is IP52 rated for dust and water resistance. Accelerometer, gyroscope, hall-effect sensor, and ambient light sensors are present on this device.
Connectivity features include 4G LTE without voice calling support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It offers a dedicated Google Kids space and Entertainment space along with access to 10,000 teacher-approved apps for children.
Pricing and Availability
The Moto Tab G70 comes with a price tag of Rs. 21,999 for the lone 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage configuration in single colour named Cyber Teal. It is already available for pre-orders via Flipkart with a 10 per cent discount via ICICI Bank Credit and Debit Cards during the Flipkart Big Saving Days sale.
The look of this Moto tab G70 is really promising, and I have no doubt about the performance as it has a mediatek helio chipset.
