YouTube Premium, YouTube Music Premium annual plans launched in India with introductory offer

YouTube has introduced a new annual subscription plan for both YouTube Premium and Music in India, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Japan, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, and the US at a special discounted price for individual users until January 23 2022. 

In India, the annual YouTube Premium is costing Rs 1,159. In comparison to the monthly Rs 129 individual plan, you would be saving Rs 389 in a year with annual plan. Similarly, the annual price of YouTube Music Premium is Rs 889 and in contrast to the monthly Rs 99 plan, individual users would save Rs 299 in a year.

All new and existing users and subscribers already having YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium subscriptions are eligible for this offer. Users with existing subscriptions can move to the annual plans after cancelling their current membership and subscribing again with the annual plan. 

Notably, since YouTube is providing these annual plans under promotional offer, they won’t auto-renew after 12 months and subscribers have to manually renew it according to the prices that time. YouTube Premium subscription offers ad-free, offline, and background streaming benefits.
