Microsoft is ending the support for the SwiftKey keyboard app for iPad and iPhone users. The app will no longer be available for download via Apple App Store starting October 5th, 2022. However, if a user has already downloaded the app, it will continue to work until they manually uninstall or gets a new device.

“We are ending support for Microsoft SwiftKey iOS. Thank you for being a user of our product. Please visit data.swiftkey.com for details on how to manage your data. The app will be delisted from the App Store on October 5th, 2022,” the company posted on the support page of the SwiftKey website.

Microsoft acquired SwiftKey in 2016, while the iOS version of the app has been available since 2014. Reportedly, the company did not update the iOS version of the SwiftKey keyboard app for over a year, hinting that the app has already been deprecated.

Microsoft has also confirmed that it will continue to support the SwiftKey keyboard app on the Android version.
