Mi 10 5G with Snapdragon 865 SoC, 108 MP camera launched in India

Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi has launched the Mi 10 5G in India. The phone is available in Coral Green, Twilight Grey, and Peach Gold color options. The Mi 10 series smartphones were debuted in China in February 2020.

Mi 10 5G features a 6.67-inch full HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and HDR10+ support. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 (7 nm+) chipset paired with 8GB LPDDR5 Ram and up to 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. The phone runs MIUI 11 based on Android 10 out of the box.

Mi 10 5G boasts a quad-rear camera setup of 108 MP f/1.7 primary Samsung sensor, 13 MP f/2.4 123-degree ultrawide camera, 2 MP f/2.4 macro, and 2 MP f/2.4 depth sensor. The rear camera support 8K recording at 30fps, 4K recording at 30/60fps, FHD recording at 30/60fps, and HD recording at 960fps. For taking selfies, the phone has a 20 MP f/2.0 camera on the punch-hole display.

Connectivity features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, infrared port, dual 4G VoLTE, SA/NSA 5G, and USB Type-C port. Sensors include, under the display optical fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, barometer, and proximity. Mi 10 5G comes with a non-removable Li-Po 4780 mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging, 30W fast wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging technology.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 5G comes in two variants- the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 49,999, and the top variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs. 54,999. The 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant hasn’t yet launched in India. The phone is up for pre-order and will go on sale starting May 18 on Amazon India and Mi India e-store.

Xiaomi is offering Mi wireless power bank for free to customers who pre-order the device. The company is also offering no-cost EMI to all customers, and up to Rs. 3000 cashback on purchasing the phone through HDFC debit or credit cards.
