State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on Monday rationalized the unlimited voice freebies and 100 SMS/day on select Special Tariff Vouchers (STVs) and Plan Vouchers (PVs) to include MTNL roaming for existing and new customers effective tomorrow in Chennai Telephones and Tamil Nadu Circle under GSM prepaid mobile services.
According to a BSNL Chennai circular, the unlimited voice freebies rationalization is for STV 99, STV 104, STV 349, and STV 447. The mentioned STVs will be included with MTNL Roaming w.e.f 12.05.2020.
Currently, unlimited free voice calls in home and national roaming including the MTNL network roaming area of Mumbai and Delhi in a day are charged at base plan tariff, after consumption of 250 minutes for the rest of the midnight. The voice benefits under the voucher can’t be used for outgoing calls to premium numbers, IN numbers, international numbers, and other chargeable shortcodes. This voucher is only for personal use.
The 100 SMS/day rationalization is for STVs 97, 118, 187, 199, 247, 298, 349, 399, 447,499, 1098 and PVs/FRCs 106, 107, 153, 186, 365, 389, 429, 485, 666, 997, 1699, 1999. The mentioned STVs, FRCs, and PVs, are included with MTNL Roaming w.e.f 12.05.2020.
Currently, 100 SMS/day is applicable in home and national roaming including the MTNL network roaming area of Mumbai and Delhi. The SMS benefits under the voucher can’t be used for outgoing calls to premium numbers, IN numbers, international numbers, and other chargeable shortcodes. This voucher is only for personal use.
