Itel A70 with Unisoc T603 SoC, 5000mAh battery launched in India

Itel has launched the Itel A70 smartphone in India. The phone features a 6.6-inch HD+ display, Unisoc T603 SoC, 4GB of RAM, a 5000mAh battery, and a 13-megapixel primary sensor. Itel A70 runs on the Android 13 Go Edition based Itel OS 13 out of the box. Moreover, the phone can use up to 8GB of virtual RAM for faster performance and has a Dynamic Bar feature that lets users quickly check notifications.

Itel A70 specifications

The Itel A70 features a 6.6-inch HD+ (1612 x 720 pixels) display with a 20:9 screen aspect ratio, a 120Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 500 nits of peak brightness. The phone is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T603 (12nm) chipset paired with Mali G57 MP1 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of onboard storage. It also supports a microSD card of up to 2TB for expandable storage.

For optics, the Itel A70 sports a dual-rear camera setup of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and an unknown AI lens. For selfies and video calls, the phone has an 8-megapixel front-facing sensor housed in a water-drop notch display. The phone is equipped with a non-removable 5000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging technology.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ Glonass, dual 4G VoLTE, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor with a face unlock feature for biometric authentication.

Pricing and availability

The Itel A70 is priced at Rs. 6,299 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, Rs. 6,799 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model, and Rs. 7,299 for the 4GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The phone comes in Brilliant Gold, Stylish Black, Field Green, and Azure Blue color options and will go on sale starting January 5, 2024, via the Amazon website and retail stores in India.
