HONOR 90 with 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display, 200-megapixel camera launched in India

HTech has launched the Honor 9 smartphone in India on Thursday. The phone features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition SoC, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a 5000mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. Honor 90 runs on the Android 13 operating system with MagicOS 7.1 customization on top.

Honor 90 specifications

The Honor 90 features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (2664 × 1200 pixels) quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and up to 1600 nits of peak brightness. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 (4nm) Accelerated Edition chipset paired with Adreno 644 GPU, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The Honor 90 sports a triple rear camera setup of a 200-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, a 12-megapixel 112-degree ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and making video calls, the phone has a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture. The phone is equipped with a non-removable 5000mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging technology.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, ambient light, and an in-display optical fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 161.9mm × 74.1mm × 7.8mm and weighs 183 grams.

Pricing and availability

The Honor 90 is priced at Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, while the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant costs Rs.39,999. However, as an early-bird sale, customers can get the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant for Rs. 27,999 and the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant for Rs. 29,999.

The phone comes in Diamond Silver, Midnight Black, and Emerald Green color options and will be available through the Amazon India website starting September 18, 2023, at 12 PM IST. Customers can also avail of an exchange discount of RS. 2,000 while purchasing the phone via Amazon, and customers using ICICI and SBI cards can get an additional discount of Rs. 3,000.
