Cost of UHD tvs which i just checked starts from Rs 69,000 only for 40 inches by LG. Thats great news coz 6-8 months back it was around 2.5 lakhs for a 55 inch UHD tv by LG. By 2018 I ll buy one for sure. Currently Tvs are available from 40-65 inches in India whereas Tvs upto 110 inches are available in other rich markets. Samsung's monstrous 110 inch Tv costs - $150,000 i.e Rs 92 lakhs. The price of the Tvs reduce drastically with size

Nothing, only the size 55 inches is bigger than 40. Dont buy a 40 inch UHD tv the size is too small to notice difference between HD and UHD. If you want to buy a UHD tv the starting size should be 55 inches. Make sure it has HDMI 2.0 ports and not HDMI 1.4
