Just look at the picture quality difference between jio livetv (iptv) and airtel iptv.
While this jio stb is connected to jio 5g mobile hotspot and airtel stb is connected to airtel fiber 1gbps connection.

Airtel iptv

4x Zoomed picture showing 1/4th of the tv screen. Notice the books in the background.
Both are sd channels (Cnbc tv 18). Most of the Hd channels are in same quality in both of the stb.
This is just one example. I think jio is providing more sharp quality picture in most of the sd channels.
I will wait until they fix this issue and then i'll change my internet provider (currently using ACT)

Digital feed (from You tube or OTT apps) have upper hand over satellite feed (with lower mbps) in SD channel transmissions at any time . So i felt Airtel iptv SD channels quality is not good compare to news channels quality in Youtube.

how about the quality of HD channels and also another question is the quality SD channels same as the DTH or even worse ?

Quality is same as DTH, HD is good and SD is bad, expecting some 4K channels in iptv, but it seems Airtel have no interest as of now. 😠
oh okay, how about the speed of the internet. I've been using ACT for 2 years and i've never faced an issue for speed it was always at either 100 mbps or above that, also how does it affect when you're consuming dth and like does it drop when it's shared

I have also ACT fiber with 150 mbps and Airtel 40 mbps as backup with iptv, both have good browsing experience with speeds, very few downtimes. iptv consumes FUP data, so it's obviously speed is drops when watching TV Channels. HD channel consumes 8 mbps.
