I also got the connection of airtel iptv today . According to manager I'm the 1st in my city to get the iptv connection today, boxes just reached yesterday night in my city (patna). So the head team also came to my house along with installer to guide him activation process.

Yes its a new optical fiber connection. Airtel airfiber is not working good in my area as per the users review. Airtel is giving ofc by default in my area, if anyone want airfiber then they have to mention before payment.
Currently they are not giving iptv connection for existing customer in my city.
