JIO was interested in providing IPTV since they introduced JIo TV android APK two years back. But due to TRAI rules and threat by LCO's of cutting their cables they revoked it. If IPTV is provided then DTH/ cable TV business would face huge losses. Also ACT , netplus are providing IPTV as per TRAI rules. AP fiber is a failure due to poor quality.

Then what is the solution..m not saying jio to give iptv by violating TRAI rules..JIO can also give iptv as per trai Rules like ACT providing....No problem for that...by reducing NCF JIO can also provide IPTV with their packages in affordable price...
.So jus for sake Of LCOs N bcz of their dadagiri..JIO afraid to go with IPTV..but that's not the solution...It wont give them success or growth..JiO should figure out some new solution to deal with them... surrender to them is not solution.. neither JIO nor the customer will benefit from this...

In country like South korea IPTV was launched in 2008 ..N today after 10 years .. almost 50 % population of South korea have IPTV connection...it has overtaken Cable tv in South korea....N here we r still want to live with Cable tv service....In era of INTERNET n digital india ..

Agreed,,, even I was hoping for IPTV by JIo. They should have tried their best. Now I have decided to buy 1 more firestick.
