i am also happy with ACT fiber 425/- planI feel plans are costly, I booked Jio Fiber connection 15 days ago, it was scheduled for installation today but I cancelled it.
I currently use ACT 425 plan (cost ₹500 with GST) where I get 200GB at 25Mbps, along with it I use Tata Sky where I pay around ₹350. I already own a smart TV where I have almost all OTT apps I use. So I pay 775 for Internet + TV.
In Jio even if I opt for least plan Bronze 699 it would cost me ₹825 with GST. I would get 100Mbps speed but data limit would go down to 100GB (free 50GB is not forever) and for cable TV I was told we would need to pay separate charges so I would prefer Tata sky for that and will not take cable from them. Regarding free landline, all my family members already use unlimited calling plans on mobile, it would be good to have landline but it is not much useful.
Coming to free settop box provided by them, I already own smart TV so that would not add much to me as I already have Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube, Jio Cinema apps in it.
And installation charges of 2500, simply no

Jio person who called me for installation told me that in coming months they may launch better plans based on locations as current plans won't work for cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore etc. where existing broadband providers give much better plans at lower price.

Jio plans are like having a race bike with only one litre of petrol.. practically not better than current plans of existing providers...
Are you frm any LCOs..bcz In this forum everytime i read your post .. You seem to be so happy with Jio coming with LCOs...bro, thanks for clarifying that Jio will provide TV service via local cable operators and there are separate extra charges for it
Sooner or later JIO will surely come with IPTV .. via LCO/Cable tv strategy They will not grow...Bcz No one frm Existing Cable/DTH N broadband users will opt for their Costly plans n for 4k set top box ..if it doesn't include TV service..

What is Jio going to do in south India for lco? They have not made any tie-up here? Any info?

Definitely Jio will Provide IP tv like AP fiber. Many LCOs supply AP fiber IP TV, Internet and Phone service to consumers homes with last mile fiber in Vizag and many towns in AP.
i just checked AP fiber website n N i m just surprised or say shocked by seeing their Internet/BB plans....In just 149 They are Giving IPTV + BB combo basic package ..god....Means IPTV trend has ALREADY started now in india....So Its nothing like now JIO cant follow this or start this...IF other people/service providers can come ahead to GiVE IPTV With One single plan.. Then why Cant JIO..Why.. why some ppl here say they JIO wont/cant give IPTV ... Means seriously..Who is stoping JIO...If ACT Net plus Ap fiber can give IPTV in their Package Then Why Cant JIO ..Now i seriously dont understand This..
JIO was interested in providing IPTV since they introduced JIo TV android APK two years back. But due to TRAI rules and threat by LCO's of cutting their cables they revoked it. If IPTV is provided then DTH/ cable TV business would face huge losses. Also ACT , netplus are providing IPTV as per TRAI rules. AP fiber is a failure due to poor quality.
I am from andhra pradesh..we have Apsfl..andhra pradesh fibre net ltd..they provide tv,landline,internet including wifi,ethernet port,usb port .strating they cost 150+ 50 rupees for installement of box..after new trai rules they collect 250
