BSNL to launch Rs 199 Plan Voucher and offer 3GB/day on STV 998 from 24th December

State-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is set to launch a new prepaid plan to its portfolio from 24th December 2020. The new arrival is a plan voucher priced at Rs 199. BSNL will also offer increased data on STV 998 as part of its Christmas Offer.

According to a BSNL Rajasthan tweet, BSNL is introducing Plan Voucher 199 from 24th December which will offer 2GB high-speed data per day on the data benefits front, free 250 minutes of local, and STD calling per day, and 100 SMS per day. The prepaid plan will offer a service validity of 30 calendar days.

Separately, according to posters on Kerala BSNL’s website, BSNL is also set to offer increase data benefits on its STV 998 as part of the X-Mas offer. The Special Tariff Voucher which currently offers only 2GB high-speed data per day will offer 3GB high-speed data per day with a calendar validity of 240 days.

In other news, BSNL Chennai is offering a Full Talk Time offer on FTT-160 for a period of 10 days starting 21st December 2020 that can be availed through C-Top-Up, Web portal, and M-Wallet (Not available through Physical Paper Vouchers).

The 199 plan is good. It is easily comparable with competitors. BSNL should revamp their tariff plans and introduce user friendly ones. Such that users can easily understand and compare with others.
