BSNL revises STV Rs 18 to offer 1GB per day data

State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the revision of its Special Tariff Voucher (STV) 18 effective 5th February 2021. The rationalization of the prepaid plan will reduce the data offerings on the STV.

According to a BSNL Chennai tweet, STV 18 will now offer unlimited free voice calls, unlimited free video calls, unlimited data with post FUP speed reduced to 80 Kbps after 1GB per day and 100 SMS. The prepaid plan offers a validity of 2 calendar days.

STV 18 earlier offered unlimited free voice calls, unlimited free video calls, unlimited data with post FUP speed reduced to 80 Kbps after 1.8 GB per day. The rationalization has reduced 0.8 GB per day from the STV along with bundling of 100 SMS.

BSNL has also revised its Rs 199 postpaid plan to offer truly unlimited calling. The company modified the postpaid plan to offer an unlimited free voice calling benefit in the Home LSA/National roaming including the MTNL roaming area (on-net/off-net). The company has also launched a free call forwarding facility available for its GSM prepaid and postpaid mobile customers in Chennai Telephones (including Tamil Nadu circle) effective 4th February 2021.
