BSNL rationalizes STV 499 and STV 198 with revised benefits

State owned BSNL has rationalized the following STVs w.e.f 01.06.2021 in Chennai under GSM prepaid mobile services.

State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) earlier this week rationalized two of its Special Tariff Vouchers (STVs) effective 1st June 2021 under GSM prepaid mobile services. The company has rationalized STV 499 and STV 196 to offer revised benefits for BSNL customers.

According to a BSNL Chennai circular, BSNL’s STV 499 will now offer 2GB high-speed data per day, unlimited local and STD voice calls in Home LSA and National Roaming including MTNL area of Delhi and Mumbai, 100 SMS per day, BSNL Tunes, and Zing. The STV comes with a tariff validity of 90 calendar days.

BSNL’s STV 198 will now offer unlimited high-speed data with speed restricted to 40 Kbps after 2GB high-speed data per day, and Lokdhun content. The STV comes with a tariff validity of 50 calendar days.

BSNL’s STV 198 earlier offered 54 calendar days tariff validity along with PRBT. BSNL’s STV 499 earlier offered 1GB high-speed data per day.

In other news, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) in April 2021 added 09 2G BTS and 17 3G Node-Bs.

  1. So finally, Today Airtel has upgraded bandwidth of 15Mhz in 1800 band in up east after 5mhz in 900 band. Now I m waiting for upgradation of 20+20Mhz in 2300 band by airtel. But since the airtel upgraded 15 mhz in 1800 band, VoLTe sign is not showing..what may be reason for this??
