State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) today announced the introduction of Plan Voucher (PV) 1499 along with the withdrawal of PV429 and subsequent reintroduction of STV429 effective 1st September, 2020 and 31st August, 2020 respectively.
According to a BSNL Chennai circular, BSNL is introducing FRC/PV 1499 effective 1st September 2020 which will offer 24GB data, unlimited free voice calls, 100 SMS per day free, with a validity of 365 days. BSNL as a promotional offer is offering 30 days extra validity on the plan for the first 90 days. The plan voucher can be activated through C-Topup, self-care, and web portal with BSNL allowing migration from and to above-prepaid plan 1499. After free data, data charges will be applicable as per base plan.
BSNL has separately withdrawn PV 429 and in place of it introduced STV 429 effective 31st August 2020. STV 429 will offer unlimited free voice calls, 100 SMS per day free, 1GB data per day, access to Eros Now services with a validity of 81 days. The STV can be activated through C-Topup and web portal to enjoy Eros Now services since activation through self-care doesn’t offer the same.
In other news. BSNL has announced the launch of Special Tariff Voucher (STV) 49 on a promotional basis effective September 1, 2020 along with the withdrawal of top-up recharge facility for GP-II customers.
PV1499, is it 24GB/day or a total of 24GB for 365 days?
Total 24GB for 365 days. It is a voice calling benefits focussed plan.
Confusing – Rs.429
429 is changed from Plan Voucher to Special Tariff Voucher
But Tamilnadu BSNL website is showing Rs.429 under STV and plan categories also.
They may have changed already then.
