BSNL launches STV-49 as a promotional offer and withdraws top-up recharge facility for GP-II customers

State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) today announced the launch of Special Tariff Voucher (STV) 49 on a promotional basis effective September 1, 2020 along with the withdrawal of top-up recharge facility for GP-II customers.

According to a BSNL Chennai circular, STV 49 will be available effective 1st September, 2020 on a promotional basis for 90 days under GSM prepaid mobile services. STV 49 will offer 28 days of validity, free 100 minutes calling to any network, free 2GB data, and free 100 SMS to any network. Post the exhaustion of free minutes, voice calling will be charged at Rs 45 paisa per minute in Home LSA and national roaming including Mumbai and Delhi with MTNL network.

The STV can be activated through C-Topup, self-care, and webportal. Post exhaustion of free data, data usage charges will apply as per base plan tariff. The above STV will be available till 29th November 2020.

BSNL has separately in another circular has intimated the withdrawal of top-up recharge facility for GP-II customers effective 30th August 2020 under GSM prepaid mobile services.
