State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new discount offer under GSM postpaid mobile services due to the withdrawal of Plan 149 and Plan 725 which were discontinued effective July 1, 2020.
The launch of the discount offer was notified by BSNL Chennai through a circular and tweet yesterday evening. BSNL had withdrawn two postpaid plans Plan 149 and Plan 725 from July 1, 2020. The postpaid plan FMC 149 which was withdrawn on July 1 is being offered to existing customers for 90 days or 3 billing cycles after which he/she will be migrated to plan 99.
BSNL is offering a limited period offer of a discount of Rs 25 for 3 months if active customers of postpaid plan 149 migrate to higher fixed monthly charges (FMC) plans.
On other hand for postpaid plan FMC 725 which was also withdrawn on the same day, BSNL is offering a limited period offer discount of Rs 75 for 3 months if active customers of plan 725 migrate to higher fixed monthly charges (FMC) plans.
