State-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is offering zero installation charges for landline, broadband, and FTTH customers that were recently disconnected in Kerala telecom circle.

According to a BSNL Kerala tweet, all BSNL customers who had a landline, broadband, and FTTH service disconnected before 30th September 2020 can get back their connections at zero installation charges. The limited period offer is only for BSNL customers in Kerala who can contact their nearest BSNL customer service center to get hold of the offer.

The offer will only be valid for those customers who opt for the advance rental payment plan while coming back to BSNL with BSNL indicating that LCO provisioning charges might apply for FTTH connections.

BSNL is recently said to have crossed 1 million Bharat Fiber customers after having launched its new FTTH plans in response to Airtel Xstream Fiber and Reliance Jio which has led to an increase in demand for its FTTH services with Kerala circle reportedly leading in addition of subscribers in the month of October. The telecom service provider has been from a long time between June to September 2020 losing market share in the wired broadband sector
