State-owned BSNL Karnataka has launched new plan vouchers and special tariff voucher for its prepaid subscribers. The telecom operator has also withdrawn several existing plan vouchers and special tariff voucher for prepaid mobile subscribers in Karnataka circle.
Introduction of following PVs/STVs
BSNL Karnataka has introduced two new plan vouchers and one special tariff voucher under prepaid mobile service in Karnataka circle with effect from December 23, 2019.
Special tariff voucher (STV) 998 offers unlimited 2 GB per day data (after 2 GB, unlimited at 80 kbps), Lokdhun content for 60 days, and free personalized ring back tone (PRBT) for 60 days. The plan is valid for 240 days, including freebies, and cost Rs. 998. BSNL is offering an extra 60-day validity, total validity 300 days with normal freebies except Lokdhun content. BSNL subscribers can get extra 60-day validity if they recharge on or before December 31, 2019.
Plan voucher 997 offers 250 minutes per day local, national, and roaming voice calls. It also includes unlimited 3 GB per day data (after 3 GB, unlimited at 80 kbps), 100 SMS per day, Lokdhun content for 180 days, free personalized ring back tone (PRBT) for 60 days. The plan is valid for 180 days, including freebies and cost Rs. 997.
Plan voucher 1999 offers 250 minutes per day local, national, and roaming voice calls. It also includes unlimited 3 GB per day data (after 3 GB, unlimited at 80 kbps), 100 SMS per day, Lokdhun content for 365 days, free personalized ring back tone (PRBT) for 365 days. The plan is valid for 180 days, including freebies and cost Rs. 1999.
Withdrawal of PVs/STVs/Combo
Vouchers
BSNL Karnataka has recently withdrawn two plan vouchers and several special tariff vouchers. BSNL discontinued these plans in the Karnataka circle with effect from December 18, 2019.
Ananya Plan Voucher offered free on-net voice calls and 30 minutes off-net voice calls, 50 MB free data, and free 200 SMS per month (maximum 100 SMS per month, beyond that SMS, charged at 50p per SMS). For new and MNP customers, it offered 350 MB data. Plan validity was 180 days and cost Rs. 85.
Nimagagi Plan Voucher offered free on-net voice calls and 30 minutes off-net voice calls, 300 MB free data, and free 100 SMS per month (maximum 100 SMS per month, beyond that SMS, charged at 50p per SMS). Plan validity was 180 days and cost Rs. 87.
STV-45 offered 250 minutes per day on-net and off-net voice calls, in Mumbai and Delhi only. It also included talk value of Rs. 10. Plan validity was 28 days and cost Rs. 45. This plan was applicable only to plan vouchers 186, 429, 485, and 666.
STV-599 used to add Rs. 507 in the main account and Rs. 279 in the dedicated account with 30-day validity. It also included 10 on-net local SMS.
Apart from these, BSNL Karnataka has also removed STV-15, STV-76, STV- 177, and BB (Blackberry) STV-95, BB STV-306, BB STV-960, BB STV-90, BB STV-303, BB STV-115, BB STV-410, BB STV-1236, BB STV-281, BB STV-1009.
Recently, BSNL Tamil Nadu has also withdrawn Blackberry special tariff vouchers.
