State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has extended the validity of its ‘5 pe 6 offer’ upto 30th June. The promotional offer has repeatedly seen a monthly extension with the latest extension coming earlier this month. The offer was earlier scheduled to expire in 30th May.
The ‘5 pe 6 offer’ is now set to expire on 30th June. The 6 Paisa Cashback offer had initially launched last year with the initial validity set to expire on 31st December 2019. However, it has continued to be available courtesy of monthly extensions. The update came courtesy of a BSNL Chattisgarh tweet promoting the ‘5 pe 6 offer’ which highlighted the extension.
The BSNL 6 Paise cashback offer is applicable only for calls of duration of 5 minutes and above maximum cashback of Rs 50 per month. BSNL customers get a 6 paise cashback by either making a voice call or sending an SMS. The cashback applies to BSNL wireline, broadband, and fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) subscribers.
BSNL had rolled out the offer in response to Reliance Jio’s move to charge Interconnect Usage Charge (IUC) from its customers which is set at Rs 6 paise.
