State-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on Sunday announced the withdrawal of combo STV 125 plan from Chennai and Tamil Nadu circles. This plan was for prepaid customers.
Combo STV 125 used to offer customers 177 minutes free voice minutes to any network in the home circle, 200 MB data in the home circle, as well as during roaming and also 100 free SMS to any network all India. The validity of this combo pack was 30 days.
After removal of this plan, BSNL Chennai’s prepaid plan now starts at Rs 186. Customers on this plan get unlimited voice calls, local, STD, national roaming except for Mumbai & Delhi, 3.2 GB/day high-speed data and 100 SMS/day for 28 days. This plan is valid for 180 days.
Earlier BSNL has revised three of its prepaid recharge plans Rs. 74, Rs. 75, and Rs. 153 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka circles to cut down their validity by half from 180 days to 90 days.
