BSNL Chennai to withdraw 82 top-up denominations

State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will be withdrawing more around 7 dozen top-up MRPs in Chennai Telephones (including Tamil Nadu cirlce) under GSM prepaid mobile services from tomorrow.

BSNL Chennai in a tweet highlighted the withdrawal of the 82 denominations of top-up MRPs that kicks into effect in another few hours.

BSNL Chennai will be withdrawing MRP 130, MRP 140, MRP 170, MRP 180, MRP 210, MRP 230, MRP 240, MRP 260, MRP 270, MRP 280, MRP 290, MRP 310, MRP 320, MRP 330, MRP 340, MRP 360, MRP 370, MRP 380, MRP 390, MRP 410, MRP 420, MRP 460, MRP 470, MRP 480, MRP 490, MRP 510, MRP 520, MRP 530, MRP 540, MRP 560, MRP 570, MRP 580, MRP 590, MRP 620, MRP 610, MRP 630, MRP 640, MRP 650, MRP 660, MRP 670, MRP 680, MRP 690, MRP 700, MRP 710, MRP 720, MRP 730, MRP 740, MRP 750, MRP 760, MRP 770, MRP 780, MRP 790, MRP 800, MRP 810, MRP 820, MRP 830, MRP 850, MRP 860, MRP 870, MRP 880, MRP 890, MRP 900, MRP 910, MRP 920, MRP 930, MRP 940, MRP 950, MRP 960, MRP 970, MRP 980, MRP 990, MRP 1010, MRP 1020, MRP 1030, MRP 1040, MRP 1050, MRP 1060, MRP 1070, MRP 1080, MRP 1090, MRP 2020, and MRP 3300.

BSNL hasn’t highlighted the reason behind the discontinuation of the aforesaid denominations. It could possibly be streamlining the options for its customers with excessive top-ups being purged off the rack.
