Bharti Airtel has seemingly extended Amazon Prime subscription to a 100Mbps broadband plan of denomination Rs 1099 exclusive of taxes. Currently, Amazon Prime subscription is available only on plans of Rs 999 (200 Mbps) and above, while the Rs 799 (100 Mbps) and Rs 499 (40 Mbps) plans offer only Airtel Xstream app subscription. The 1099 plan is available only in select cities where Airtel Xstream offers the broadband connection through a partnership with Local Cable Operators (LCO).

Airtel extends Amazon Prime to 100Mbps broadband plan

The Rs 1099 plan is seemingly offering an upgraded version of its Rs 799 broadband plan which has been bundled with an Amazon Prime subscription. The list of cities where this plan is being offered was not available to OnlyTech at the time of publishing this story.

According to Airtel Xstream Fiber user, Kumar Vishwas the Amazon Prime benefit is said to be only available only monthly plans and not on semi-annual or annual plans.

In case you are seeing the above listings within the Airtel Thanks app then let us know by commenting in the comments section along with your city name.

Update: Airtel has clarified that Amazon Prime being shown under the 589 plan benefits to select users was a bug and that Amazon Prime is not being offered in this 40 Mbps broadband plan. The article has thus been amended to remove mentions of the Rs 589 broadband plan.

The Rs 589 plan, like the Rs 1099 plan is also being offered only in cities where Airtel Xstream offers the broadband connection through a partnership with Local Cable Operators (LCO).
