BSNL Chennai revises prepaid international tariffs

State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Chennai Telephones has revised the prepaid international roaming tariffs in the network of over 40 countries with effect from April 01, 2020, to June 30, 2020. The revised prepaid international roaming tariffs apply to the BSNL subscribers of the Chennai circle, including the Tamil Nadu circle.

BSNL has revised the international tariff in the network of Etisalat- UAE, TMobile- USA, Zain- Saudi Arabia, Etisalat- Saudi Arabia, Vodafone- Ukraine, Chunghwa- Taiwan, Mobitel -Srilanka, HKT- Hongkong, Ooredoo- Qatar, Omantel- Oman, NCell- Nepal, Ooredoo- Myanmar, NTTDocomo-Japan, Grameenphone-Bangladesh, TIM- Brazil, Trimob- Urkaine, MPT- Myanmar, Bell Mobility- Canada, DU- UAE, Orange- Egypt, Zain- Kuwait, DIOLOG AXIATA- SriLanka, DNA- Finland, Progresif- Brunei, Velcom- Belarus, VimpelCom- Russia, Claro- Puerto Rico, Indosat- Indonesia, M1- Singapore, Viva-Baharain, Etisalat- Afghanistan, DIGI- Malaysia, StarHub- Singapore, Swisscom- Switzerland, Telnet- Belgium, Nova- Iceland, Turkcell- Turkey, P4- Poland, MTML- Mauritius, Viettel-Vietnam, Wind Hellas- Greece, Vinaphone- Vietnam, Telephonica- Germany, Bakcell- Azerbaijan, Hutchison- Macau, HI3G- Denmark, Dhiraagu- Maldives, Maxis- Malaysia, and MTEL- Montenegro.

The revised tariffs are available in the pdf document issued by BSNL Chennai. The tariffs have been calculated as per the currency rate of March 23, 2020. To avail the service, BSNL subscribers are required to replace the existing prepaid SIM with the International Roaming SIM (Dual IMSI Seamless SIM) at CSC and must activate STV IR57.

In other news, State-owned BSNL Chennai Telephones was earlier offering full talk time on recharge of Rs. 160. The offer was valid until April 15, 2020. The offer was applicable through C-Top-Up, Web portal, and M-Wallet. The offer was not available if the recharge is done through physical paper vouchers.
