Airtel Xstream Fiber might enter another 50+ cities soon with 54 listings live on Airtel’s dedicated microsite for broadband currently which carries the ‘launching soon’ tag. The individual listings for each city mention that Airtel Xstream Fiber would be launching soon in their city but has failed to highlight any tentative date for the same.

Airtel Xstream Fiber could enter another 50+ cities

Airtel had back in March revealed its plans to spread across 25+ cities in a scheduled manner between April to July which had to rescheduled due to COVID-19. According to the listings and on-ground reports, Airtel Xstream Fiber is live in most of the cities except few which still remain on the ‘launching soon’ listings.

Airtel had last month revealed multiple other cities wherein it was planning to expand its Xstream Fiber services out of which few cities are now live with Airtel Xstream Fiber services like Anandpur Sahib, Ballia and others.

According to latest listings now, over 50 cities are on Airtel’s radar for launching of Airtel Xstream Fiber services wherein it is likely to go in with the LCO model. The plans in all the cities are the normal broadband plans and not advance billing rental plans. Airtel however will charge Rs 1,000 wiring charges upto 100 meters applicable at the time of application.

Ahmednagar, Akola, Aligarh, Amravati, Ariyalur, Bahraich, Barabanki, Barwani, Bikaner, Chamrajnagar, Chamoli, Champawat, Chandauli, Chandrapur, Chikodi, Davanagere, Dharamshala, Dhule, Dindori, Hosur, Jalgaon, Jalna, Jhunjhunu, Kaushambi, Kodagu, Latur, Mahendragarh, Mahrajganj, Mewat, Mirzapur, Muzzafarnagar, Nanded, Parbhani, Raigad, Ramnagara, Ramanathapuram, Ratnagiri, Rudraprayag, Saran, Satara, Shrawasti, Siddharthnagar, Sivaganga, Solapur, Sonbhadra, Tehri Gharwal, Thiruvannamalai, Thoothukkudi, Tirupati, Udaipur, Udhampur, Uttarkashi, and Viluppuram are among the cities which have been listed on Airtel’s website with ‘launching soon’ tag.

  1. Can someone confirm when Airtel fiber will start in Bulandshahr as they are already done pre bookings in Aug. But now they are not providing any date from last 20 days.

    • Hard to say that. If they have done prebookings then they will surely launch. I was told that Muzzafarnagar had similar issues.
