After reintroducing its Rs 95 All-Rounder pack in late March with increased validity and reduced benefits, Vodafone Idea has now followed suit to reintroduced its Rs 29 All-Rounder pack with increased validity and benefits. The new All Rounder pack was introduced earlier today with the listing going live on Vodafone Idea’s website post the stroke of midnight.
According to the prepaid listings on Vodafone India’s website, Vodafone Idea’s Rs 29 All-Rounder pack offers Talktime and data benefits. The pack offers Rs 29 secondary Talktime (Call + SMS only) with calls charged a Rs 2.5 paise per second. The All-Rounder pack also offers 100 MB of high-speed data to Vodafone Idea users. It has a service validity of 14 days.
To recall, Vodafone Idea’s Rs 29 All-Rounder pack was available for a recharge before the tariff hike in December 2019. Back then it used to charge Rs 30p/min for national, local, roaming calls with a validity of 7 days.
Vodafone’s Rs 29 All-Rounder pack is now the cheapest service validity extension pack in its prepaid portfolio. The pack will be useful for those who don’t wish to spend less money and extend their service validity. Vodafone’s Rs 39 All-Rounder pack was earlier the cheapest service validity extension pack.
After the tariff hike in December 2019, Vodafone Idea only offered Rs 49 All-Rounder pack and Rs 79 All-Rounder pack. Vodafone later reintroduced its Rs 39 All-Rounder pack, and Rs 95 All-Rounder pack. The reintroduction of Vodafone’s Rs 29 All-Rounder pack has now boosted its All-Rounder pack portfolio taking up the offerings to 5. At the time of filing this story, the Rs 29 All-Rounder pack is only available in the Delhi circle.
Idea Cellular network customers can also subscribe to the prepaid plan. Idea Customer website lists the pack under its ‘Active Packs’ section as a rate cutter plan.
