Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Vivo has launched Vivo Y50 in India on Monday. The phone was first unveiled in Cambodia in April 2020. Vivo Y50 comes in Iris Blue and Pearl White color options.
Vivo Y50 specifications
The Vivo Y50 features a 6.53-inch Full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) 19.5:9 aspect ratio IPS display with a punch-hole design. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 (11 nm) chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. It also has a dedicated slot for the MicroSD card. Vivo Y50 runs Funtouch OS 10.0 based on Android 10 out of the box.
Vivo Y50 sports a quad rear camera setup of 13 MP f/2.2 primary camera, 8 MP f/2.2 120-degree ultrawide angle lens, 2 MP f/2.4 macro, and 2 MP f/2.4 depth sensor. On the front, it has a 16 MP f/2.0 camera on the punch-hole display. The phone comes with a non-removable 5000 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging technology.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, dual SIM 4G VoLTE, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio port, and USB Type-C port. Sensors included are proximity, compass, accelerometer, and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Pricing and availability
The Vivo Y50 is priced at Rs. 17,990 for the single 8GB RAM and 128GB variant. The phone will go on sale starting June 10, 2020, and will be available through offline and online retail stores in India, including Amazon, Flipkart, and Vivo India e-store.
