Vi offers Rs 75 worth of voice and data benefits to low-income group users

Vi (Vodafone Idea) today announced that it would offer Rs 75 worth voice and data benefits to its low income group users who are getting back to work after the lockdown.

With Unlock 2.0 commencing state wise, the migrant working population is returning from their home towns to their work locations. Vi in a media release said that a section of prepaid telecom users was unable to recharge due to several reasons during the lockdown period.

Vi is offering 50 Vi to Vi calling minutes along with 50MB of data for low income group customers. The complimentary benefit will come with a validity of 15 days post which customers can recharge with the preferred value recharge packs.

“Vi is inviting all such customers back to India’s fastest 4G network, as they resume work,” said Vi in a statement.

Vi today separately launched a new prepaid plan offering bulk data benefits. Vi has strengthened it’s prepaid portfolio with Rs 447 prepaid plan that offers calling, internet, and SMS benefits.
