Tata Teleservices now has additional authorization for providing Access Services under its UL license
Tata Teleservices now has UL (Access Service) authorization in seven telecom circles across the country apart from a pan-India ISP-A license.

Tata Teleservices Limited last month bagged additional authorization from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for providing Acess Services in four more telecom circles. Tata Teleservices Limited as of September 2020 held Unified License (UL) with Access Service Authorization in Andhra Pradesh granted on 2nd November 2016. Separately, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited had Access Service authorization in Mumbai and Maharashtra for providing Access Services granted on 2nd November 2016 apart from a pan-India ISP-A license granted on the same date.
The company on 11th March 2021 bagged additional authorization from DoT to offer Access Service in Delhi, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. The company now has authorization to offer Access Service in 7 telecom circles including Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited license.
Tata Teleservices had in 2016 migrated its business in three circles namely Andhra Pradesh, Mumbai, and Maharashtra from the legacy UAS licensing regime to new UL regime. The company had back in 2015 applied for the migration of the UAS licenses to UL which was approved by DoT on 2nd November 2016.
