Samsung is expanding its presence on the Microsoft platform by bringing more of its applications to the Microsoft Store. The latest app to make its way to the Microsoft platform is Samsung Pass, which has been released in time for the launch of the new Galaxy Book 3 laptop series.
Samsung Pass is compatible with Windows 10 version 1903 and higher, as well as Windows 11. To use the app, your PC must have a TPM (Trusted Platform Module) 2.0 or higher and support Windows Hello, according to SamMobile. Windows Hello is Microsoft’s biometric authentication platform that uses face recognition, iris scanning, and fingerprint scanning to secure your device.
Once the app is installed, it allows you to unlock your phone and activate apps using your fingerprint or iris scan. To use this feature, simply go to the settings, allow the app to access both options, and enable the tool to operate.
The Windows app syncs your login information from Samsung Pass on your Galaxy smartphone or tablet, allowing you to easily access it on your PC. Recently the company has launched Samsung Wallet in India merging its mobile payment solution ‘Samsung Pay’ and password management application ‘Samsung Pass’.
