Samsung launches Galaxy A51 8GB RAM variant in India

In January 2020, Samsung launched the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of Galaxy A51 for Rs. 23,999 in India. Now, the company has launched a new variant of Galaxy A51 in India that packs 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The Galaxy A51 also has an AI-powered Game Booster that enhances gaming performance and improves the frame rate.

Samsung Galaxy A51 specifications

Samsung Galaxy A51 is powered by an Exynos 9611 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage. It also has a dedicated MicroSD slot for storage expansion. The device features a 6.5-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. The phone runs One UI 2.0 based on Android 10 OS out of the box.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 has a quad-rear camera setup of 48 MP f/2.0 primary sensor, 12 MP f/2.2 ultrawide, 5 MP f/2.4 dedicated macro camera, and 5 MP f/2.2 depth sensor camera. It has a 32 MP f/2.2 front-facing camera on the punch-hole display. For taking selfies, the phone has a 32 MP f/2.2 camera on the punch-hole display. The phone comes with a 4,000 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging technology.

Connectivity features included are Bluetooth 5.0, 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, 3.5mm audio port, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and USB on-the-go. Sensors included are gyroscope, proximity, compass, ANT+, and an optical fingerprint sensor located under the display.

Pricing and availability

The Samsung Galaxy A51 is priced at Rs. 27,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB variant. The phone is now available for purchase in the country through retail stores, Samsung India e-Store, and online stores such as Amazon and Flipkart. The phone comes in Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, and Prism Crush Blue color options.
