South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone. The phone features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel primary sensor, 8GB RAM, a 4500mAh battery, and an in-display fingerprint reader for biometric authentication. The phone runs on the Android 13 operating system out of the box with One UI 5.1 customization on top.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED display with 120Hz variable refresh rate, 1450 nits of peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (USA)/ Exynos 2200 (international) chipset powered by Adreno 730 GPU (USA)/ Xclipse 920 (International), 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of onboard storage.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE sports a triple rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12-megapixel 123-degree ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom and f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and making video calls, the phone has a 10-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture on the front. The phone packs a non-removable 4500mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging technology.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, 4G VoLTE, 5G SA/NSA, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, ambient light, magnetometer, and an in-display fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 158.0mm × 76.5mm × 8.2mm and weighs 209 grams.
Pricing and availability
The Samsung Galaxy S23 price starts at Rs. 59,999 and comes in Mint, Cream, Graphite, and Purple color options. The phone also comes in online-exclusive Indigo and Tangerine colors. Samsung Galaxy S23 will be available globally starting from October 5, 2023.
