Samsung on Thursday has launched Galaxy M12 as its new budget smartphone in the M series. It comes with a host of upgrades for predecessor Galaxy M11 and includes a large high refresh rate display, a quad-camera setup, and a huge battery.

The Samsung Galaxy M12 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ TFT Infinity-V display having a resolution of 720×1,600 pixels, 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, dewdrop notch, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
It is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core 8nm Exynos 850 SoC paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage which is expandable up to 1TB using a dedicated MicroSD card slot. The handset runs on OneUI 3.1 based on Android 11.
For photography, there is a quad-camera setup on the back consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. While for selfies and video calls, the phone features an 8MP shooter on the front.
The smartphone is fueled by a 6,000mAh battery with 15W charging support and it can provide up to 48 hours of talk time. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ GLONASS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy M12 will be available in Attractive Black, Elegant Blue, and Trendy Emerald Green colour options. It is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version will cost Rs. 13,499. It will be available to purchase from Amazon.in, Samsung.in and select retail stores offline starting from March 18th onwards.
Samsung has also announced a limited period launch offer for all online, offline channels under which buyers can get up to Rs 1,000 instant cashback on both EMI and non-EMI transactions using ICICI credit cards whereas ICICI debit card users can get Rs 1,000 instant cashback on EMI transactions.
