Samsung Galaxy F54 5G with 6.7-inch 120Hz display, Exynos 1380 SoC, 6000mAh battery launched in India

South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched the Galaxy F54 5G smartphone in India. The phone features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Plus 120Hz display, Exynos 1380 SoC, a 6000mAh battery, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Galaxy F54 5G runs on the Android 13 operating system out of the box with One UI 5.1 customization on top. The company promises to deliver up to four generations of OS upgrades and up to five years of security updates.

Samsung Galaxy F54 5G specifications

Samsung Galaxy F54 5G features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) Super AMOLED Plus Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 1380 5nm chipset paired with Mali-G68 MP5 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of onboard storage. It also supports a microSD card of up to 1TB via a Shared SIM slot.

In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy F54 5G sports a triple rear camera setup of a 108-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS. Further, it has an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and video calls, the phone has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture.

Samsung Galaxy F54 5G packs a non-removable 6000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging technology. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, VoLTE, 5G SA/ NSA, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, magnetometer, ambient light, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The phone measures 164.9 x 77.3 x 8.4 ‎mm and weighs 199 grams.

Pricing and availability

The Samsung Galaxy F54 5G is priced at Rs. 29,999 for the sole 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. However, as an introductory offer, it will be available for Rs. 27,999 with select bank cards. Customers can pre-order the phone via the Samsung website and Flipkart. Galaxy F54 5G comes in Meteor Blue and Stardust Silver color options and will be available via Flipkart, Samsung e-store, and select retail stores in India starting June 12, 2023.
