Samsung has launched its first Galaxy F Series smartphone, the Galaxy F41, in India. The phone comes in Fusion Black, Fusion Blue, and Fusion Green color options. It runs Android 10 OS out of the box with OneUI 2.1 customization on top.

The Samsung Galaxy F41 features a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and brightness up to 420 nits. The device is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9611 (4 x 2.3 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4 x 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53) chipset paired with Mali G72 MP3 GPU, 6GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 64GB or 128GB of storage. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot for expandable storage, supports up to 512GB of memory card.
Samsung Galaxy F41 sports a triple rear camera setup of 64 MP f/1.8 primary sensor, 8 MP f/2.2 123-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5 MP f/2.4 depth sensor. For taking selfies and making video calls, the phone has a 32 MP f/2.0 camera on the front. The phone comes with a non-removable 6000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging technology.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS/ GLONASS/ GALILEO/ BDS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include proximity, ambient light, gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer, and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. The phone measures 159.2 x 75.1 x 8.9 mm and weighs 191 grams.
Pricing and availability
The Samsung Galaxy F41 is priced at Rs. 16,999 for the base 64GB storage variant, while the top variant with 128GB storage cost Rs. 17,999. The phone will be available to purchase via Flipkart, Samsung India website, and select retail stores in the country, starting October 16, 2020.
During the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale, there is an introductory discount of Rs. 1500, which brings down the price of the 64GB variant to Rs. 15499 and 128GB variant to Rs. 16499. There is also an additional 10 percent discount for customers paying via SBI credit or debit card on Flipkart.
Customers can also avail of the Flipkart Smart Upgrade plan, where they can own the Galaxy F41 by paying 70 percent of the device value. The plan will be available for payments made through credit card and credit card EMI. After 12 months, customers can upgrade to a new phone on Flipkart and will have to return the initial phone purchased. If the customer wants to retain the device, they will have an option to make a payment for the 30 percent instant advance amount received at the time of purchase.
