Redmi 10A launched with Helio G25 SoC and 5,000mAh battery

Redmi 10A has been launched in China as a successor to the Redmi 9A which was announced in 2020. It comes in three configurations with a starting price of CNY 649 (about Rs. 7,700).
Specifications
The Redmi 10A features a 6.53-inch HD+ display with 720 x 1,600 pixels resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 400 nits of peak brightness and a water drop-style notch. It runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android OS.
The handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 chipset paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card.
There is a single 13-megapixel rear camera sensor with an LED flash and on the front, a Xiaomi’s AI 5-megapixel selfie camera is present with scene recognition for up to 27 different scenes.
It packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports standard 10W charging and weighs 194 grams. The fingerprint sensor is rear-mounted. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Pricing and Availability
The Redmi 10A is launched in China at CNY 649 (about Rs. 7,700) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The 4GB + 128GB model will cost CNY 799 (about Rs. 9,500) and the 6GB RAM and 128GB variant carries a price tag of CNY 899 (about Rs. 10,700).
