Realme GT, Realme GT Master Edition with 120Hz Super AMOLED display, triple rear cameras launched in India

Both smartphones support 65W SuperDart Charge technology that can charge the phone from 0 to 100 percent in 35 minutes.

Realme has launched the Realme GT and the Realme GT Master Edition smartphones in India. Both smartphones run Android 11 OS out of the box with Realme UI 2.0 customization on top. Realme GT comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and has stereo speakers, while the Realme GT Master Edition comes with a mid-range Snapdragon 778G SoC and has a single speaker. However, both smartphones feature a 120Hz Super AMOLED display, triple rear cameras, and dual microphones.

Realme GT specifications

Realme GT features a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 (5 nm) chipset paired with Adreno 660 GPU, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It comes with a new stainless steel vapor cooling technology that can reduce the temperature by up to 15-degree centigrade.

Realme GT comes with a triple rear camera setup of a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.3 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel camera with an f/2.5 aperture. The phone is fueled by a 4500 mAh battery that supports 65W SuperDart Charge technology.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth version 5.2, 5G, 4G VoLTE, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS/ Glonass, Beidou/ Galileo/ Qzss, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light, magnetometer, proximity, and an in-display optical fingerprint reader.

The phone measures 158.5 x 73.3 x 8.4 mm and weighs 186 grams, and the vegan leather version measures 158.5 x 73.3 x 9.1 mm and weighs 186.5 grams.

Realme GT Master Edition Specifications

Realme GT Master Edition features a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 120HZ refresh rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G (6 nm) chipset paired with Adreno 642L GPU, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage.

In terms of optics, the Realme GT Master Edition is equipped with a triple rear camera setup of a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.3 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and making video calls, it has a 32-megapixel camera on the front. The phone comes with a 4300mAh battery that supports 65W SuperDart Charge technology.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth version 5.2, 5G, 4G VoLTE, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS/ Glonass, Beidou/ Galileo/ Qzss, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light, magnetometer, proximity, and an in-display optical fingerprint reader.

The phone measures 159.2 x 73.5 x 8.0 mm (Luna White/Cosmos Black), 8.7mm(Voyager Grey), and weighs 174g (Luna White/Cosmos Black), 180g (Voyager Grey).

Pricing and availability

Realme GT is priced at Rs. 37,999 for the base 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant costs Rs. 41,999. The phone comes in Racing Yellow (vegan leather), Dashing Blue, and Dashing Silver color options.

On the other hand, the Realme GT Master Edition is priced at Rs. 25,999 for the base 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, whereas the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs Rs. 27,999. It also has an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant that costs Rs. 29,999. The phone comes in Voyager Grey, Cosmos Blue, and Luna White color options.

Realme GT will go on sale in India starting August 25, 2021, while the Realme GT Master Editon 8GB RAM variants will go on sale from August 26, 2021. The company is yet to announce the sale date of the Realme GT Master Edition 6GB RAM variant.

Both smartphones will be available to purchase via Flipkart, Realme.com, and all leading retail stores in the country. Under the Realme Smart Upgrade Program on Flipkart, customers can buy the Realme GT or the Realme GT Master Edition by paying 70 percent of the cost for one year.
