Prime Video April 2021: Them, Without Remorse, The Handmaid’s Tale, Hello Charlie, and more

Kicking off Amazon originals in April is the horror anthology series “Them” that is set to premiere on April 9. The series is set in 1953 during the second great migration and follows a black family who moves from North Carolina to an all-white neighborhood in Los Angeles.  Their home becomes the epicenter of evil with the neighborly and unearthly taunts to seek revenge and destroy them.

Following the immense success with Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Prime Video is set to bring yet another Clancy’s work but this time in form of the original feature film Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse. The film follows US Navy SEAL John Clark played by Michael B. Jordon who was on a mission to uncover an international conspiracy while seeking revenge for the murder of his pregnant wife in hands of the Russians. The film will premiere on April 30.

The service also set to premiere the returning season of the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning Dystopian Hulu original series “The Handmaid’s Tale”. The fourth season is scheduled to premiere on April 27. Also joining the list is NBC’s Manifest, whose third season is due to premiere on April 2.

To be frank, i don't think any of Prime's India originals series are gonna show up any time soon.
All major OTT platforms are now working to no to create any unnecessary ruckus especially after Tandav (The Worst by far in big budgeted ones).

Otherwise no other reason to postpone completed ones like Family Man S02 or That 26/11 series. Let's see what's going to happen.
Also kamathipura, which was originally commissioned by amazon sold off its rights to India it seems which Hotstar might have bought and haven't released it. The same is available in some markets on Prime Video's.

This shows how bad that Govt intrusion and unnecessary ruckus is creating for Indian entertainment industry which isn't heavily evolved like others where the production houses can collect penalties if some commissioned series is later scrapped by the Networks.
